Rosevelvet Bakery

Red Velvet, im-presionante!

Following a piece of advice published on “El Viajero” (El Pais) I discovered an amazing place, Rosevelvet Bakery (paralel of Sant Miquel Street, in Palma de Majorca).

First reason why I’m in love with this place is because they take care of your five senses.

1: Smell. Just coming into the store you can smell that they're baking, and baking cakes and muffins, home made and with good ingredients (that kind of sweets that not only look good, they also taste good).

2. Taste. Their cakes speak for themselves.

3. Sight. Their decoration is really nice. They take care of the details and you will feel like coming back.

4. Hearing. They don't have TV or uncomfortable noises at all. The place is small, so the worst  thing that could happen is that they won't have empty chairs and you would have to carry your piece of cake home, but it doesn't matter, they will taste good at home too.

5. Touch. Textures are perfect. Their frostings are how they must be and not just a sort of sticky dough with too much sugar on it, as it happens often. These are creamy and with a really delicious flavour. I suposse if it would be easy they would have them everywhere, but they have the secret recipe.

Their menu is on the photo above, but they don’t have evrything every day, I heard them say that they bake two or three different cakes a day, but they accept orders.

I've tasted the carrot cake and the red velvet, and I can say I will try new ones soon, no problems with the menú, just the one they've baked that day will worth it.

Their only problem is that they don't open on Sundays, hope they will soon!!
