Yakisoba |
Last week we were looking for a special place to
celebrate a birthday diner, I think is
really important to enjoy good moments with all the intensity you can do it, so
I decided to ask the people I know about any good restaurant to visit.
With so many Asiatic restaurants (Chinese, Thai, Japanese,
Korean, Vietnamese, etc.) I had many different recommendations.
Finally I decided to visit one of the most special
areas in Palma, in my opinion, El Terreno.
There, on Camilo Jose Cela Street, on the way to
Bellver Castle, you can find Shogun Restaurant, they are open for more than 25
years.
On the menu they explain their history, they came to
Majorca more than 25 years ago, in the 80s, when they opened the restaurant
until nowadays.
The atmosphere was really calm and nice. They have photos
of Japanese Embassador visiting the restaurant.
Sushi was delicious and enormous (Carrefour could feel
ashamed of naming the product they sell as “sushi”).
We had a fantastic sushi assortment and a seafood
yakisoba, we just could say that we will come back.
The dinner didn’t disappointed us, we found another
authentic place, run by people that take care of what they do.
Here a link to good comments in Cometemallorca, and we
hope they will be open 25 years more.
Add that there is another restaurant with the same
name, in their facebook they explain that the only thing they share is the
name.
